Codes and Conventions of a double page spread


Image

  • There is always a central image of who the people are that are being interviewed. 
  • The place of the picture can vary. They are normally on the left hand side of the artical but occasionally can be on the left or bleeding the image across a couple of pages.



Text

  • The text colours match the image also the magazine wants it took look oragnised and weel written.
  • Want to intice the target audience and stand out.
  • The text is an informal mode of adress. This is because formal is boring and the magazine wants to connect with the reader who will want to relax when reading it.
  • The font size is size 11
  • Also there is the same theme throughout the article



Page

  • On each page there is a page number with the name of the magazine 
  • the website address.
  • The artists name is always highlighted and big to stand out. 



Headline

  • The headline is bold and stands out.
  • short and snappy
  • Has crealt of the writer and photographer
  • underneath there is a stand first above the article



Layout

  • The article has 3/4 main colums
  • drop qoutes
